A very large Eagle, commemorating the Italian ornithologist Andrea Bonelli, who discovered the species in Sardinia. A sub species (very similar) to the African Hawk Eagle, Bonelli's Eagles are found all throughout Arabia and Europe but not in the UK, except for imported birds used for falconry and breeding. This is a fully adult specimen.
